Quality Tokenomics Analysis
Tokenomics DAO has been creating content for the better part of 2 years now. We set out to properly explain and help people understand tokenomics in a simple fashion. It has been a journey that has led us to our branded Tokenomics 101 analysis formula that helps readers easily understand how a protocol works, how it is designed, and how it will affect the users involved. It’s safe to say that we’ve pioneered the standard in tokenomics documentation – getting straight down to the need-to-know information, and helping people better understand tokenomics as a whole.
Why Are Tokenomics Important?
Tokenomics is more than pie charts and allocation schedules. For any new readers here, if this is not evident to you then Tokenomics DAO content is definitely what you need.
Economics are predictive, meaning that given a rule we try and determine what outcomes to expect. Whereas tokenomics are design-oriented, meaning that given a desired outcome, we try to define the rules to achieve the outcome.
Why is this important? Well if you’re going to design a rule to incentivise a certain outcome from a user, you need to have an understanding for:
The problem and what you’re proposed solution is going to be
How this solution creates value and for whom
How the solution will grow based on who is interacting with it and the projected value capture
The role of the actual token within the protocol
The myriad of users, the tasks that they will perform, and their underlying motivations for doing so
…
All in all, you need to understand how the users are woven into every aspect of interaction in the protocol. Tokenomics are the understanding of this interaction and the designing of the next steps (not simply how many tokens each user gets and over how long – aka pie charts and allocation schedules).
Obviously, this is important for those designing these protocols but also for users and/or investors that are interacting with them. How the system is designed affects how it is used and the expected ROI. Any diligent builder, user, or investor cannot ignore this.
Tokenomics DAO content is the research that showcases all of this and how it affects different user groups.
What Are We Planning On Doing Moving Forwards?
Tokenomics DAO will be providing 4 high-quality research articles per month, one per week. These will either be tokenomics deep dives such as this and this or topic-based analysis such as this and this.
If you’re interested in learning about tokenomics and either making better design decisions, investment decisions, or simply understanding how a system works, Tokenomics DAO research is a must.
Tokenomics DAO will be transitioning to paid content on April 4th. To show our appreciation for the support that we have received we’re offering a 20% discount on subscriptions going forward. This offer will be valid until April 4th. Any existing premium subscribers will be grandfathered into this offer.
Aside from our regularly scheduled programming, we will be periodically diving into new forms of analysis and insight, AMA’s with protocol founders, and much more.
We understand the value of free content, all protocols that we analyse will also be published on Tokenomics Hub in the form of condensed need-to-know tokenomics reports.
Furthermore, anyone who purchases a yearly subscription at this point will receive exclusive early access to the new Tokenomics Design Space (TDS) – the TDS is a software product that gives you a simple-to-understand design environment that guides you through every step and explains things in simple English. Along the way we show you relevant data and information on similar projects which helps you to make better design decisions based on industry standards, culminating in a simple-to-understand report/overview of your tokenomics which you can then share with whomever you please and even get a tokenomics expert to check and review your design and point out any flaws. The TDS is currently in beta and will be released soon.
Yearly subscription including early access to Tokenomics Hub and Tokenomics Design Space (TDS) features:
We hope to see you around the tokenomics space!
Hello Team,
I have recently Subscribed to your Paid Newsletter. Could you please help, How can I make best use of it
Thanks
